"I’m a 73-year-old woman who’s been working with Phillip for more than 10 years – I started because I was determined not to end up as a bent-over little old lady afraid to move. He has never given up on me even when I was ready to give up on myself. He pushes without being pushy, motivates without being too rah-rah. Even though I hate exercise, I enjoy working with him.
Phillip pays attention to details of movement, and the results of his small adjustments to my form are immediately obvious. He changes up my workouts with different exercises and equipment so my sessions are never boring. Lots of whole-body exercises for cardio, strength, mobility, and balance.
Phillip also helped me avoid carpal tunnel surgery by showing me hand exercises that really hurt but worked. I appreciate that he’s credentialed and has a degree in kinesiology, as well as being just an all-around nice guy. I'm now stronger and more mobile than most women my age."

"When I joined a gym almost 10 years ago they suggested that I think about working with a trainer to help get me started. I was really nervous because I did not think that I was the type of person who had a trainer. I have never been athletic but I have always enjoyed working out but had a hard time with consistency and knowing what I should actually be doing. When I met Phil my feelings about working with a trainer immediately changed. Phil is kind and patient. He has a wealth of knowledge and has always made working out fun. What I like the most is that he takes time to get to know his clients, he knows how far to challenge you without making you feel like you are not able to be successful. His encouragement has kept me going for the past 10 years that I have trained with him. He is not judgmental, or critical but approaches workouts seriously because he truly cares about his clients."
